Installation and Assembly

1. Placing the Thermostat
   • Desktop Use : Place the device upright on a table or flat surface.
   • Wall Mounting : Fix the thermostat to the wall using the mounting bracket or screw holes at the appropriate height.

   Note : The maximum wireless communication distance between the thermostat and receiver is 200m (in open space). In indoor conditions, the distance may vary.

2. Thermostat Power Supply
   • USB Type-C (Recommended) : You can ensure continuous power by connecting the Type-C cable.
   • 2×AA Batteries (Alkaline) : Open the battery cover and insert the batteries in the correct direction. For long life, choose new, high-quality batteries.
   • Two Power Sources at the Same Time : Using both USB and batteries at the same time allows the thermostat to continue working in case of sudden power outages.
3. RF Receiver Installation
   • Electrical Connection :
     1. Disconnect power (make sure there is no power to the boiler/heating system).
     2. Open the front cover of the receiver and connect the cables according to the diagram.
     3. If necessary, apply concealed wiring (in-wall) or open wiring methods.
     4. Secure the connectors and snap the cover into place.
   • Connection Diagram : Correctly connect the boiler or motorized valve cables to the COM, NO, NC etc. terminals indicated on the device.

Thermostat and Receiver Pairing

• Factory Default : The device comes as a set and is already paired.
• Re-pairing (If Necessary):
  1. While the receiver is powered on, press and hold the "SET" button for 3 seconds. The pairing LED on the receiver will begin to flash.
  2. With the thermostat in the off position, press and hold the "Power" button for 3 seconds. This will enter pairing mode.
  3. When pairing is completed, the receiver buzzer will sound and the “Pairing” light will turn solid.

Tip : You can pair multiple thermostats to a single RF receiver.

WiFi Connection and Mobile Application

1. Download Smart Life/Tuya Smart App
   • Search for and download the “Smart Life” or “Tuya Smart” app from the App Store or Google Play.
   • You can also quickly access the application by scanning the QR code.
2. Register or Login
   • To create a new account, enter your phone number, get a verification code, and set a password.
   • If you have an existing account, you can log in directly.
3. Adding a Device
   • With the thermostat off, press and hold the "Power" button for 3 seconds to enter WiFi configuration mode. "-" and "P" will begin to flash on the display.
   • Tap the “+” icon in the app and wait for the device scan to complete.
   • Enter the 2.4GHz WiFi network and password, click “Next” to continue.
   • Once the connection is confirmed, complete the installation by clicking “Done”.

Important : Bluetooth and WiFi must be turned on on your phone and the application must be given Bluetooth access permission.

Usage and Basic Functions

1. On/Off
   • Short press the “Power” button to turn the thermostat on and off.
2. Temperature Change
   • While the device is on, you can raise or lower the temperature in 0.5°C steps by turning the “Knob” (rotary knob).
3. Time Settings
   • With the thermostat off, press and hold the "Power" button for 3 seconds. Adjust the day, hour, and minute settings using the "Knob." Confirm by briefly pressing the "Power" button.
4. Weekly Schedule
   • When the thermostat is on, you can set 6 different time & temperature values for each day of the week (or 5+2, 6+1, 7 day mode).
   • Change the time/temperature value with the “Knob” and save it by pressing the “Power” button briefly.
5. Manual & Automatic Mode
   • You can switch between manual (M) and automatic (A) modes by short pressing the “Knob” button.
6. Child Lock
   • You can activate or deactivate the lock by pressing the “Power” + “Knob” keys for 3 seconds.
7. Freeze Protection
   • When you activate the frost protection mode, the heating system will automatically activate when the temperature drops to a certain lower level.
8. Low Battery Warning
   • When the battery voltage drops below 2.3V, the battery icon will flash on the screen. It is recommended that you replace the batteries as soon as possible.

Voice Assistant Commands

• Amazon Alexa : “Alexa, turn on the heater!”, “Alexa, turn up the heat by 1 degree!” etc.
• Google Assistant : “Ok Google, turn off the heater!”, “Ok Google, set the thermostat to 26 degrees!” etc.

Note : You can customize the thermostat name on voice assistants as desired. The temperature units (°C or °F) for the thermostat and voice assistant must be the same.
